NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick Review

by - September 29, 2016

Helloo!! I am finally back to blogging and have missed it greatly! Youtube has taken over my online life recently but I've realised I need and want to dedicate a part of me week to my blog again. I won't be posting 5 times a week like I was previously, but you can expect a post a week from me!

Anyho, let's get cracking with the review!

If you could have seen the delight on my face when I walked into my local boots and saw NYX cosmetics you most definitely would have laughed. I have wanted to try out NYX for suuuch a long time now, but there were so many items to choose from, ordering online always intimidated me. I immediately ran to the lip products and picked up this Liquid Suede Lipstick as well as one of their Butter Glosses (which are as amazing as everyone says they are). I also featured this product in my most recent favourites video on Youtube, but wanted to show you a bit more in depth review.

I haven't heard as much about this product as I had about others so was intrigued to see what they would be like. The shade I have chosen is Vintage which (swatched on my lips below) is the most beautiful brown/ mauve shade with a bit of a purple undertone thrown in there. A perfect Kylie Jenner Lip Dupe!

The Lipstick applies so smoothly and is nicely pigmented meaning if you need to layer the lipstick up it won't ball up or congregate in the crevasses on your lips. When it comes to the longevity of the lipstick it's about an 8/10 for me. Meaning that it lasts just the right amount of time for me, but when it comes to eating food it's not really going to last through that.

When you first apply the lipstick it is of a similar consistency to a liquid lipstick and then dries down to a very comfortable matte, not drying at all! I feel like these lipsticks will be fab for the winter months as, when it begins to get colder outside that means skin gets drier as well as the lips so fully matte lipsticks are risque territory, where as I think these will do you just fine!

For only £6.50 these Liquid Suede Lipsticks are definitely worth a try!

Hope you enjoyed my first blog post after a couple of months, as I'm happy to be back!
