So after not buying myself any highstreet clothes, in what feels like forever, plus having a holiday coming up, i decided it was time to treat myself! I'm super happy with how the video turned out and would love it if you would take a look (and subscribe if you really love it)!

Please feel free to leave me any video or blog post ideas either in the comments here or over on my channel!

So I've never really thought of myself as a lipstick hoarder, until I decided to organise my collection and I've now realised I have a problem.... All be it though, it is quite a nice problem to have. I like to try out as many different brands as I can, as you never know where on when you might find that star product. Topshop makeup, was always something I looked at in stores but just never picked up. That was until all of their lipsticks were reduced to £1 each and everyone had to hold me back. I may or may not have purchased 10 in one go... and already had one already in my collection from about a year ago. Even when they are not on offer they still only cost £8, which compared to say either MAC, or even some of the more expensive drugstore brands, I really don't think that's bad at all.

The texture of all these lipsticks are most definitely satin (shiny and almost glossy texture), and very comfortable to wear. Personally I do think it is a bit of a shame that some of the colours, in particular the darker shades are not matte as it would make for easier wear. Don't get me wrong, they do not bleed in the slightest and all have brilliant staying power for a satin lipstick, however for the purpose of not having to check to make sure you haven't smudged your dark brown lipstick everywhere would make them a 10/10, but maybe that is just me being a bit picky!

In regards to the colour pay off, they are all very pigmented, whether it be the lightest pink to the darkest purple. Due to the comfort-ability of the lipsticks and such a pigmented product, I am slightly confused as to why they aren't a more popular product, or atleast spoken more of within the beauty community. I think my most favourite element about these lipsticks is the colour range itself. There really is something for everyone, even if it's a neutral everyday colour or, one of my favourites, a bright lilac (sweet orchid). The packaging is also very sleek and chic but still has its own Topshop uniqueness to it, such as the font and the dark grey accents, which is used throughout their whole brand.

In the picture above I have swatched all the shades I own, the picture is not edited and I only gently applied the product to my skin to allow for true colour pay off. All shades are listed from left to right.

(Charmed, Petal, Sweet Orchid, Tease, Brighton Rock, Champion, Fast Lane, Straight Ace, Depth, Black Widow, Muse)

To summarise, I bloody love 'em, and seeing them all swatched here is really making me want to wear a bold bright lip tomorrow morning. Like I always say when it comes to make up, I really don't mind what brand the product is from and I really wouldn't let the thought of it being from a clothing brand make you think any differently towards these, as they compete, and the compete well against their competitors.

I hope you found this post helpful and informative, and if you try any of their products out, be sure to let me know what you think!

Beauty Product Empties are one of my favourite beauty type of video to watch. What's the point of a review if the products haven't really been put to the test? Do you really know their worth the money? If you've finished up a whole product I'm pretty sure you know the answer to these questions.

Within my video I look at different categories from Makeup to Skincare to Haircare, so there is something for everyone. Also I hadn't filmed a sit down talking video in a while so it's quite a long one, so make sure you have a nice beverage and snack prepared!

After putting myself on a bit of a spending ban for this past half of the year with clothes and makeup, I decided it was now time to treat myself - dangerous decision! However, when I say treat myself it wasn't really much of a splurge when it came to these products. Colourpop are usually pretty good when it comes to offering different deals with all their products. When I purchased these, they had an offer on for 3 liquid lipsticks of your choice for $12, plus free international shipping, making them £3. 07 each!! Literally could not have been happier with that price! I would definitely recommend signing up to their email notifications as that is the best way to keep up to date with what they're offering.

Colourpop has been a brand I've enjoyed for a while and I thought it was time to add to my collection. My satin liquid lipstick I have in the shade Dopey is one of my favourite liquid lipsticks Ive tried, so decided purchase another. I chose the shade Magic Wand which is a beautiful nude shade which is slightly pink with a touch of brown thrown in the mix. The colour applied really smoothly and you only really need one coat for full coverage. I've found that the Satin formula although are long lasting are very comfortable as they appear matte but have a slight tacky texture to them, but definitely not in a negative way. It just makes them feel very smooth and easy to wear.

The next two shades I picked are LAX - an amazing deep burgundy shade with a slight purple and brown tint, and also Little Weapon from the Alexis Ren collection which is theeeee most fabulous vibrant, almost fluorescent red shade (definitely my fave from the bunch). I am yet to give the shades a proper test as I've only tried them when taking the swatch photos, however I am definitely impressed with what I saw. Both colours applied very smoothly and opaquely and when left on my lips for about 5 minutes each they did not feel drying, however I will be sure to give you my full review when I've given them a full test run!

If you know me then you know I'm a massive bargain shopper, and will search high and low for a good deal. Not only is it clothes that I scout out for a cheaper price, but also makeup and beauty products. I really do believe that amazing products don't have to cost the earth it's just trial and error to find the ones that suit your needs.

I have stumbled across 3 beauty products that I think are definitely worth more than their price tag. All 3 products can be used multiple ways, and not just in ways that you may think. So without further a do, lets take a look at a bar of soap...

Now this is only a bar of soap, however it is my favourite bar of soap (something I never thought I would have a favourite of tbh). The brand of soap is by Pears and can be purchased pretty much anywhere that sells beauty products. I purchased mine from Boots and bought a pack of two for £1.49 or you can buy a single one here .
So what's so fab about it and what do I use it for? Firstly and most obviously you can just use it as soap, I personally don't use bars on my body but do on my hands, and find that this one doesn't dry them out at all. Secondly, and the reason I love it so much is as a brow gel/ wax. If you haven't heard of the soap brow trend then you're really missing out if you love big, bushy brows. Now not every bar of soap will do for this as you 1000% need a transparent soap otherwise you will end up looking like you have dandruff in your eyebrows. All you do is take a spoolie and lightly wet it and rub it on the soap untill a paste is formed (don't go crazy, a little goes a long way). Then you simply brush it through your brows and they'll stay in place all day and all night. This will almost definitely be the cheapest brow gel you'll ever find! If you would like to see how I use this technique I actually have a video all about it over on my Youtube channel.

Product number 2 is one that will almost certainly save you time and money - Johnson's Baby Shampoo. Stating the obvious here you can just use it as shampoo, but, personally it isn't my favourite shampoo I've ever tried which doesn't really shock me as it is made for the heads of a 2 months old baby. This shampoo can be bought anywhere from supermarkets to Superdrug and this 300ml bottle cost me a mear £2. However what I enjoy using it for is to wash my makeup brushes. Really you should be washing your makeup brushes thoroughly atleast once a week, but who can really say they do that? Defo not me that's for sure, as it is the biggest beauty chore ever. When I can be bothered to do so this combined with a marigold washing up glove and some hot water is all you need to bring your brushes back to life. Step one apply sexy yellow glove. Step two place some soap in the palm of your hand. Step 3 taking a makeup brush dampen it in the water and then swirl it around in the palm of your hand mixing it into the shampoo. Keep doing washing and repeating untill your brushes are as clean as can be. Typically the shampoo breaks down most products pretty quickly, so hopefully it shouldn't take you too long to complete the most boring thing about beauty (process is also a lot faster if you can get your boyfriend to help too!).

Thirdly we have my absolute fave, Coconut Oil! Now if you want to, you can spend as much as you like on a pot of coconut oil as some can cost as much or even more than £30! You definitely, definitely do not need to spend this, unless it has some fairy magic thrown in, they're they are all going to do the exact same thing, but you might just have a slightly prettier pot. This particular brand i bought from Tescos for £5 and it has lasted me months even though I use it nearly everyday. My main and most loved way of using it, is as a makeup remover. I simply scoop some out and rub it onto my face as you would any balm makeup remover and then taking a cotton bud gently remove all makeup and excess oil away. Personally I have not found a better makeup remover that gets rid of mascara and liquid lipsticks as this does.
Not only does it remove your makeup expertly, but it also helps to nourish and hydrate the skin just as well as any face cream will do. It does take a bit of getting used to when using this as a moisturiser as it is obviously very oily which some may find uncomfortable, however after a few night use your skin will feel sorter than ever!

I really hope you've found this post helpful and want to try out one of these products. If you do happen to go out and buy one do let me know what you think in the comments!
